Recently finished this poster and had to share the yummy information that comes with it.
Chocolate scrub on your feet? That’s like stepping on a thousand Hershey’s Kisses. Goodbye smelly feet, hello aromatic feet. This is such a steal at Php960 for two people which already included mani-pedi with imported polish. How cool is that?

This is currently my get-happy photo. I’m fond of colors and the photo is full of striking colors and patterns! This is my cover photo on Facebook as well as Nail It’s. I’m happy that the photo turned out quite well thanks to Everywhere We Shoot and the Bloom Arts Festival hangover in Today X Future way back in September 2012. Good times.
P.S. These beautiful girls are DJs from Magic and RX. Hyper girls! :)

Art you kidding me: Miss Recycled 2012
I couldn’t help but gasp when I first saw these dresses. Being a fan of fashion and art, I just had to see each dress up-close and find out how they were made. Paper rolling, folding and braiding were some of the techniques applied. It’s funny how they used feathers of a live chicken for the 2nd garment!
These were used for a pageant of such inspiring teenage girls. I’m really happy with the effort and creativity these girls put into making dresses from recycled materials.  it’s good that as young as they are now, they’re already practicing creativity— my faith in this world is restored.

OUT AND ABOUT: LETTERS OUT LOUD, poetry reading

A few weeks ago, I came from a quick poetry reading session in Moonleaf Katipunan sponsored by Candymag. It was easy for me to say yes when I was called to cover it the day itself because I was around the area. I went by for a few rounds of poetry and enjoyed being around people I’ve never met but are also fans of literature.

I was really iffy about staying because the small tea place was getting really crowded and it was as if everyone knew each other. When Marla kicked it off with a short reading from a Summit published book, I felt really humbled by the fact that the speakers for the day would all be sharing bits of heir private lives, and I’m very fond of being around different personalities, I like hearing stories from different backgrounds and most of all, I like poetry.

Overall, it was a pretty unique experience but it won’t be long until you get to join us. The event is a dry run of what is to happen in different colleges and universities. Hopefully they drop by somewhere along Taft for a South session. :)
