FashBack: Proenza Schouler S/S 2010
When you see colorful prints in playful silhouettes, it’s most likely a Proenza Schouler creation. The duo behind one of my favorite designer houses whipped out a green-with-envy collection with tie-dyes and frilly skirts. The structured-mustard-olive scheme is a house signature but the S/S 2011 collection was very neutral and relaxed; what style did Proenza venture on this year?

Proenza Schouler’s first ad campaign

Proenza Schouler never needed excessive press release to sell their works. Designers McCollough and Hernandez saw their first ad campaign as an art project. It’s dark and twisty, very sophisticated. It can pass as a campaign done in a different era.
