Nail It! diaries: Preparing for Paris Hilton

My friend wouldn’t believe me when I said I had my nails done for my meet and greet with Paris Hilton but seriously, I had my nails done pink the day before because it’s her signature color. I just had to resort to a pale pink to keep with my taste— if you’ve read my previous personal nail posts, you’ll know that I’m not a big fan of brights. I like the fact that the shade is very much similar to my wallet’s.

Here are my nails up close. This shade is called Silk Stockings. It’s a pale pink and if there was a way to describe it, I’d call it a conservative shade of pink. I’ve had it for a week now and it hasn’t chipped in spite of my compulsive need to have my nails trimmed really short. They’ve been trimmed, filed and the polish remains good. You should really try this and the other “wedding tones” from Orly available in Nail It! salon if you want to keep your nails neat and classy. ;)

I wanted to know more about Paris Hilton’s bag collections but couldn’t seem to find information about the latest collections, not even in her official website. I specifically looked for the Fall-Winter 2011 collection and found everything that I needed in one source, Paris Hilton Handbags Australia.

The Australian-based site is run by mother and daughter tandem Sharon and Bonnie, authorized distributors of the handbag line in Australia. The site has been around for a little over a year but it already has a lot of things you need to know about Paris and her bags. My own curiosity was satisfied by merely going through all the blog posts and seeing all the photos of Paris toting the bags herself.
